RIBBED SMOKED SHEET(RSS)
At Great G Group, discover the pinnacle of quality with our Natural Rubber, RSS rubber refers to Ribbed Smoked Sheet rubber, which is a type of natural rubber produced in sheets that have been processed through a series of steps including smoking and ribbing. Crafted meticulously from fresh field latex, our RSS-4 and RSS-5 undergoes a rigorous production process supervised by a well-trained team, ensuring adherence to the latest standards and employing cutting-edge machinery.
Derived from the finest coagulated rubber, our RSS-4 and RSS-5 boasts uniform thickness and distinctive parallel ribs, enhancing its tear resistance and resilience. The smoking process, conducted in specialized chambers, not only preserves the rubber but also elevates its physical properties, guaranteeing unparalleled durability.
Graded meticulously according to international standards, our RSS is currently available in a range as RSS-4 and RSS-5, each exhibiting superior characteristics such as color consistency, cleanliness, and texture. With our commitment to quality assurance, our inspectors undergo rigorous training, ensuring consistent grading and adherence to stringent quality parameters.
As the preferred raw material for various industries, including automotive, footwear, and manufacturing, our RSS 4 and RSS-5 sets the benchmark for excellence, delivering unmatched performance and reliability. Experience the epitome of quality and performance with our Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS), the cornerstone of your industrial endeavors.

TECHNICAL PROCESS
RSS is a type of natural rubber that undergoes a specific processing method to produce thin, flat sheets with a ribbed surface texture. RSS rubber is derived from the latex of rubber trees (Hevea brasiliensis) through a series of processes including coagulation, sheet formation, smoking, and drying. Here’s a simplified overview:
- Latex Collection: Latex is collected by tapping rubber trees.
- Coagulation: Chemical agents coagulate the latex into solid rubber particles.
- Sheet Formation: Latex is spread into thin sheets on a flat surface.
- Ribbing: Sheets are ribbed to enhance airflow during smoking.
- Smoking: Sheets are smoked to improve properties and color.
- Drying: Sheets are dried to achieve optimal moisture content.
- Grading and Packaging: Sheets are graded for quality and packed for shipment. Strict quality control ensures RSS rubber meets industry standards, with processing methods impacting final product characteristics.
PACKING
Summary of our rubber sheet packing process:
- Pressing, Folding, and Shrink Wrapping: Rubber sheets are pressed, folded, and shrink-wrapped to compact and protect them.
- Polythene Bag Packaging: Shrink-wrapped sheets are placed in labeled polythene bags weighing approximately 50 kg each.
- Baling: Bags are baled together to form larger units, each weighing around 50 kg and labeled for identification.
- Palletization: Bales are stacked on 1150mm x 800mm wooden pallets, with each pallet holding up to 28 bales totaling about 1,400 kg.
- Container Load: A 20-foot container typically accommodates 14 pallets, totaling approximately 19.6 metric tons (19,600 kg) of rubber sheets.
- Labeling and Marking: Each pallet and bale is clearly labeled with product details, weight, and handling instructions for organized and safe transport.
This packing procedure ensures our rubber sheets are securely packed and efficiently transported to their destination.
